Well after several minutes of digging, it seems the creator of TinEye registered tineye.com way back in November 2000, long before Mistborn was written. Pretty interesting coincidence.
Heheh, Mistborn was the first thing that made me thought of also. And it quite fits, even though it seems a complete accident. :)
